The legacy of Italian stadia is well known to all calcio fans. With a majority of the stadia built or renovated for the World Cup in 1990, the iconic grounds have largely remained the same since (exterior wise, at least), Many call for the urgent need for new stadia throughout Italy in order to bring Serie A into the new age, and while that is needed, there is a nostalgic link to these grand old arenas.
