Roma Ti Amo – La mostra is a new exhibition showcasing the history of AS Roma and the most important stages of the club’s existence (for more – a lot more – on the history of AS Roma, see here). It features some beautiful retro jerseys, classic photos, trophy displays, as well as many badges, posters and match programmes from glory days of yesteryear.
From AsRoma.it: Telling the story of AS Roma means telling the story of a fair bit of Rome too – the city itself seen through football, one of the most exhilarating collective experiences there is. To organize this event, AS Roma turned to Arthemisia Group, one of Italy’s leading organizers of large art exhibitions and cultural events. This is more than just an exhibition about a team: Roma ti Amo is where art meets sport, a celebration of football as a social phenomenon that is deeply engrained in Italian culture and history. It’s a multi-sensory experience that will touch the hearts of every visitor as he goes on a journey from the past to the present.
The exhibition contains some real gems and memorabilia from the history of the club and is well worth checking out. Be warned, though, it only runs until July! The exhibition is located at Factory Pelanda (EX MATTATOIO DI TESTACCIO) from February 18 to July 20, 2014 (Tuesday to Friday, from 16:00 to 22:00 Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 22:00).
