Fiorentina have always had some of the most stylish and dapper kits in Serie A. With their dynamic and potent viola colour and the historic artistic heritage of the city, sure why wouldn’t they?
Now, for their 2015-16 kits, Il Viola have themed up with iconic French sports company Le Coq Sportif, who make a long awaiting return to the football market. Le Coq Sportif replace the Spanish brand Joma who sponsored Fiorentina for the previous three seasons. They will also work with the French club Saint-Etienne for the 2015-16 season.
The new Fiorentina 2015-16 home shirt is naturally predominantly viola with white details on the collar, the sleeve cuffs and the side of the shirt. It also has a purple crossover v-neck collar with a white trim while inside the neckline is the lettering Orgoglio Viola (“Purple Pride”).
Based on the same template as the home shirt, the away kit is white with purple details to create a traditional design. On the left sleeve of all three of the new Fiorentina jerseys is a lily, the iconic symbol of Firenze.
The goalkeeper kits are certainly a nod to the days gone by, too. Minimal in appearance, they are available in green and grey and boast a larger version of the stylised lily on the front. All round Fiorentina are going to look as sharp as ever on the pitch, with all their Le Coq Sportif kits making a bold statement. Its just a pity Vincenzo Montella won’t be there on the sideline to look as cool ever adorned with the iconic French brand.
