The new Juve jersey sees a classic aesthetic given a modern refresh
The new Juventus home jersey for the 2021/22 season is a representation of the evolving spirit of a club always respectful of its traditions. The updated jersey sees a classic Juventus aesthetic given a modern refresh, inspired by the stadium that players and fans alike proudly call home since 2011.
Since the team’s move to the new stadium, fans have enjoyed countless moments of magic at the venue. The new home jersey pays homage not only to the iconic players that made Juventus history, but to the supporters who had a part in building its home, with the star and pentagon design of the legendary Cammino delle Stelle (Walk of Fame) engineered into the fabric of the shirt.
The resulting jersey is a reimagination of the club’s classic black and white stripes, celebrating a decade at the stadium and uniting the club’s community with subtle reference to its home. A new crew neck collar – which features engineered ventilation – includes a “10 YEARS AT HOME” sign off that showcases the famous red, white, and green flag poles in another reference to the stadium.
“It was important for us to mark the 10th anniversary of the move to the stadium with this jersey as we know how much it means to the supporters. Incorporating the stars from the Cammino delle stelle allows us to connect with everyone associated with the club. Juventus is a club that stands for innovation and is a global leader in football, so we focused on bringing a new and unique element to this jersey whilst staying true to its heritage.” said Francesca Venturini, Football Designer at adidas.
The new jersey is made with PRIMEGREEN, a series of high-performance recycled materials, putting sustainability at the heart of the innovation. It features the latest in adidas’ temperature regulation innovation, HEAT.RDY – KEEP COOL, which is designed to keep players feeling cool, dry, and confident during play. The replica shirt offers similar benefits thanks to the inclusion of AEROREADY – FEEL READY technology, keeping fans comfortable and ready as it absorbs moisture for a dry feeling.
The new home jersey will be worn for the first time on pitch in the Coppa Italia final on 19th May and will be available to purchase from today via adidas.com/football, selected adidas stores and the Juventus club and online store, as well as selected retailers and fashion stores from 25th May.
