The Inter Milan home kit for 2015-16 sees the return of the club’s famed traditional look: broad black and blue stripes.
This take on the iconic Inter Milan aesthetic celebrates the 25th anniversary of the club’s 1990-91 UEFA Cup triumph.
A title that marked Inter Milan’s first European silverware since the Sixties, it sparked a remarkable run of success in the competition – in the space of seven seasons the club claimed three UEFA Cups, adding the 1993-94 and 1997-98 trophies.
A new typeface was designed by Nike for the Inter 2015-16 Home Jersey, which, like previous Inter Shirts, features stripes that are offset on the back.
As in 1990-91, this season Inter Milan’s home kit features striking black and blue stripes that are offset on the back against the front to create an eye-catching and subtly abstract look.
The shirt’s polo neck collar is in blue and black, again taking design cues from the kit worn by the triumphant 1990-91 team.
There is a blue stripe on each of the shirt’s flanks, which continues down the sides of the home kit’s otherwise black shorts.
The new home socks are black with a wide stripe of blue chevrons on the calf.
