4 Quartieri, 1 Cuore Viola. Fiorentina have unveiled their five new jerseys for the 2018-19 season, based on the famed ‘Calcio Storico’ sides. They represent the ‘Quartieri’ of the city and the historic sides that would battle it out for sporting supremacy in a very early form of football known as Calcio Storico or Calcio Fiorentino. The white is for Santo Spirito quarter, the red Santa Maria Novella, green for San Giovanni and blue Santa Croce.
Fiorentina first made the headlines last year by unveiling four different away jerseys, with each kit inspired by the four historic neighborhoods of the city. Some may think its too much, but there’s no doubting the quality and beauty of the Le Coq Sportif manufactured kits.
