Who doesn’t love a good, old fashioned and extremely tacky bootleg football shirt? The type you’ used to buy as 10 year old on a family holiday to the Algarve? Well, what if that style made a comeback, and they were actually rather stunning? Football kit specialists Cult Kits have teamed up with Bootleg shirt connoisseurs, @astorelike94 to produce a limited run of classic 90s style fan jerseys.
The first two shirts pay tribute two players who need little introduction on these pages, a pair of the greatest Italian players of all time. The legendary Roma favourite Francesco Totti and AC Milan icon Paolo Maldini as you’ve never seen them before, in a celebration of the great 90s hero shirt tradition, with some iconic photography and memorabilia spanning their epic careers. Sampdoria’s Ruud Gullit and Kazuyoshi Miura, once of Genoa, also appear, and we can only hope for lots more to come.
