Cagliari Calcio to end relationship with Macron, possible Adidas takeover
With the surprising news that Sardinian club Cagliari Calcio are to end their business relationship early with Macron (they had an agreement up to 2023) and possibly sign a new deal with international kit giants Adidas, designer Emmegraphic (previous FKD Designs, see: Serie A Concepts) has created these excellent new concepts based on the home, away and 3rd kits.
Cagliari are a club on the rise, with ambitious plans for the future which include a new stadium (see: 100 Years of Calgliari). Throughout the last few years Macron have produced some excellent kits for Cagliari which have seen them stand out from the crowd – none more so than their recent Centenary Kit – so it will be unusual to see them in Adidas, especially with their rather bland templates which they use for a lot of clubs. But if they can look as good as these concepts, we should be in for a treat.
